K.EXE is just KERMIT.EXE renamed because I was typing that silly word so many times a day that I started turning green and getting warts. :-) The documentation for the use of KERMIT.EXE is on your HP 82208 Serial Interface Kit Disk, in a file called KERMIT.TXT. The other files on the HP 82208 disk are not included on the HORN1 disk because, according to HP, "they are not REALLY public domain." What that means legally is quite beyond my capacity to comprehend. In any case, kermit IS public domain. It is always supposed to be bundled with its operating instructions by its authors, but since HP didn't, I can't either. -jkh-
