Usage: renfont widfile.WID "oldname" "newname" will rename the typeface "oldname" to "newname" in the specified Ventura Publisher .WID file. Typeface names are case-specific. They must be enclosed in double quotes if they contain any space characters, and each must be less than 32 characters long--for many width tables, the limit is actually 15. If you try to use a name that is too long for your width file structure, RENFONT will stop and complain rather than do any violence to the file. This program directly alters the specified .WID file. If you're not sure what you're doing, make a backup copy of your width file first! This is a free program, written by David Satz.
