DOSview Quick Setup Instructions
================================

Single Use...
-------------
1.      Copy the DOSview files to a directory in your path.
2.      For the shareware version, run DOSVUE.EXE to extract the files.
3.      Run DV.EXE.
Review the documentation when possible.

Network Use (Supervisor Instructions)...
----------------------------------------
1.      Copy the DOSview files to a directory in your search path in which
        everyone has read access.
2.      For the shareware version, run DOSVUE.EXE to extract the files.
3.      Supervisor: run DV.EXE one time to setup initial user INI defaults.
4.      Supervisor: run DVNSETUP and follow its instructions.
5.      Now everyone can run DV.EXE from this directory.
Review the Network Operations section of the documentation when possible.


Sample User Menu
================

DVMNU.TXT is a sample DOSview User Menu.  It is named such in case you already
have a DV.MNU file in your DOSview directory.  If you would like to check this
sample menu out, do the following:

1.      Rename your present DV.MNU menu file (if you have one) to something
        like DVMNU.SAV.
2.      Copy the DVMNU.TXT file to DV.MNU.
3.      Place this new DV.MNU file in your DOSview directory.
4.      Start DOSview and press the '=' key.
5.      If you wish to edit the file (thereby allowing you to see the actual
        commands) then press F2 for EDIT after pressing '='.

To regain your original menu file, simply copy DVMNU.SAV to DV.MNU.
