The first FAT is the one used by most programs. The other is a backup copy. This program gives you the opportunity to compare and edit the File Allocation Tables of a floppy disk. It will search both copies for differences, copy one FAT to the other and more. Start it up with the command FATEDIT Drive where Drive is the name of the drive, ex FATEDIT A: Keys : cursor keys and Home/End/PgUp/PgDn to move about in the active FAT Tab to change the active FAT F1 for a help screen F2 to save both copies of the FAT F3 to copy FAT1 to FAT2 F4 to copy FAT2 to FAT1 F5 for boot record information F6 to search for differences Esc to quit Restrictions ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ - will only work on floppy drives with two FATs Acknowledgements ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ This program was written in Borlands Turbo Pascal 5.5.
