BOXER has been acclaimed by many as the best Shareware text editor on the market. BOXER.MAC has been provided as a convenience to BOXER users who are using 2COL or JETCOL. A macro is included to print the document you are currently editing within BOXER in compressed 2-column format using either 2COL or JETCOL. You can either load this macro into BOXER or rename it to DEFAULT.MAC so that it will be loaded automatically. BOXER may be ordered from Boxer Software, P.O. Box 3230, Peterborough, NH, 603-924-6602. Boxer is available for $56 ppd. with printed reference manual, or $39 ppd. with on-disk documentation. BOXER/TKO, which is capable of editing multi-megabyte files, is priced at $95 ppd. After being loaded into BOXER, the 2COL macro is activated by Ctrl-P and the JETCOL macro is activated by Ctrl-J. You can use BOXER's BMAC program to edit and merge these macros with the default set. The 2COL macro is currently configured for a 24-pin printer. You will need to edit the macro if you have a 9-pin or DeskJet. Be sure to include a "" command between options when editing. Real spaces are edited out by BMAC. Also, you should know that this macro saves the current document you are editing, replacing the previous version with any changes made in this editing session. The backup file will contain your original text. I suggest you try BOXER. It is one of the best text editors around. Tony Caine
