TypingMaster version 3.0 (c) 1996 TMProductions TypingMaster is a personal educational program that teaches the user the practical touch typing system. In the touch typing system you use all the ten fingers efficiently when typing. TypingMaster is compatible with keyboards used in most countries, including the the QWERTY keyboard used in America and the QWERTZ and AZERTY keyboards used in Europe. Using the program is easy thanks to the straightforward menus. The on-line help feature also helps to become aquainted with the program. Studying starts from the very basics of the touch typing system if necessary. The practice courses include exercises in both letters and numbers. The location of the studied characters and the fingers to be used are shown in the the keyboard layout of the study screen. The courses can be followed automatically or independently in a user-specified order. TypingMaster remembers the exercises done by each student and continues from the correct position. The program also continuously keeps note of the keys with which the user does most errors and creates new exercises on these keys if so wished. Between studies it is possible to practice your typing speed with different games, which include KeyMan, NumberFall and WordTris. You can also practice copying text from screen. The program compares the written text to the original and reports on typing errors and typing speed. If you don't register the program you are not able to use all the features of the program.
