SHOWFLAG.TXT ============ Welcome to yet another example of a script written with the use of DataShow. This is an educational example, where you have to guess the names of countries and capitols. A flag is shown on the screen and you are asked to answer the questions. It all takes place in graphics mode, and the flags were drawn and saved in PCX format - so you can display them in your own scripts also. The game/quiz can be enhanced in many ways: - You could add new flags and questions, look in the script file for places to change. - You could add a hangman type system, so that when the user enters a wrong answer, you come nearer to the end. Tutorials like this, with the incoorporation of sounds, interaction, and graphic special effects is one of the many ways to use DataShow. Sincerely Rene Plambek RMP DATA!
