Welcome to Delrina FreeComm!

Delrina FreeComm(tm) is a complete communications software package for MS-DOS 
offering the ideal balance of simplicity and power. FreeComm(tm) offers many 
advanced features such as a built-in editor, fast file transfer protocols and
virus protection.

Delrina grants to you an ongoing license to use the FreeComm in accordance 
with the terms of the License Agreement contained in the file LICENSE.TXT.
These terms include your mandatory registration of FreeComm with Delrina. 

Delrina FreeComm may be freely distributed in its complete and original 
form only.

Redistribution of this program in any modified form is in violation of the 
software license agreement provided in the file LICENSE.TXT.

Please read the file LICENSE.TXT prior to installing FreeComm.

Installing Delrina FreeComm 1.0
-------------------------------

After you have downloaded Delrina FreeComm 1.0 from the 
Delrina BBS, unzip the FREECOMM.ZIP file into an appropriate
directory, such as C:\FREECOMM.

To start Delrina FreeComm, type the following for the command line...

C:\FreeComm\DFC.EXE

...and press Enter.

Delrina FreeComm is now ready to use.


Upgrades
---------------

There will be no enhanced versions of Delrina FreeComm made available for 
future release. We may at our option, issue updates from time to time via
the Delrina BBS.

You are encouraged to upgrade from Delrina FreeComm to Delrina WinComm PRO or
Delrina Communications Suite for Windows.  WinComm PRO is the easiest way to 
go On-line.  WinComm PRO provides many useful features such as a friendly 
graphical Windows interface, intuitive icons, fully customizable button bar 
and phonebook as well as the Delrina Internet Messenger -- the easiest way 
to send, receive and manage Internet e-mail messages.

In addition to WinComm, Delrina Communications Suite adds the award-winning 
WinFax PRO to provide a complete communications solution.

Documentation for FreeComm is supplied only in electronic form. No printed
manuals are available.  You may download these files from the Delrina BBS.

Because FreeComm is free, it is not eligible for technical support from Delrina. To encourage user to user support on this product, Delrina will maintain a forum on the Delrina BBS in both North America and the United Kingdom.
