NEW UPLOAD - DEPUTY VERSION 3.09 - SHAREWARE VERSION ---------------------------------------------------- Changes in Version 3.09 ----------------------- This is Deputy 3.09. This replaces SHAREWARE Version 3.04. Versions 3.05 through to 3.08 were not released as shareware. As well as various little tweaks, changes in V.3.09 include: * Problem of 'VERSION OUT OF DATE' fixed * Built in Novice mode removed; instead, the script AUTO.DSL is provided which will run automatially if NOVICE MODE is enabled. This is more flexible as AUTO.DSL can be modified. * Command line -MEM option added. This disables overlays which therefore uses more memory but increases menu 'popup' speed. * SC.EXE will now run in less RAM * You can select Alt hotkeys when the bar menu is active * Kermit7 added to upload menu * Changes to INT14 to support Extended BIOS calls * Changes to flow control, so that when you disable it when the flow is blocked, the flow is restarted automatically. * In the editor, wrap now defaults to 'ON' * DCD status now reports true state in INT14 (BIOS) mode * In the Host mode, some changes to echo to main screen * The success sound setting now affects the Bell signalt too * Some work on video modes, to make them work with odd VGA cards * Shell escapes under DV are not multitasked anymore, so a file transfer will not progress while you are shelled to DOS under DV. * Filenames are now truncated to 11 chars in download log * The accuracy of the Wyse and other VT emulation has been improved * Modem init string input window now scrolls horizontally * Key input window now shows same number of chars as dial window * VT320 codes for special keys changed from CSI to ESC[. * If you load 'PRINT' while shelled to DOS you will get a warning * DSL: New PushKey command simulates a keypress * DSL: DoWait() now returns -1 instead of 0FFFFH when timeout. * DSL: New commands: Arg, Call, DialKey, DialNumber, Rand. * DSL: 'OK' declared as a variable in all learned scripts. * If the dial string is empty, Dial will succeed without dialling. Speed, parity etc will be set from the dial dir. * If the dial string starts with !, dialling is passed-through. * Function keys refreshed when carrier drops * Strip parity bit setting of terminal emulation now has priority over the general strip parity setting. So if you have set strip ON and select the 'BBS' emulation, BBS wil override the strip setting. * If a zmodem is resumed, the diskspace is compared to the remaining filesize after opening the file, rather than the complete filesize.
