UltraMoni - v1.4 (C) 1994 Gerry Schechter Purpose: To provide a more flexible PCBMONI function for busy Sysops. Features: ùEverything that PCBMONI does. ùCan be run from remote without the need for DoorWay. ùLogs usage to caller log. ùUser's security must be equal to or greater that the Sysop security defined in PCBoard, thus preventing any possible breaches of security. (Required security can be overridden via CMD.LST) ùWill display vital user's info at the touch of a key. ùKeyboard timeout checking is disabled, so you can run it all day. (Limited only by your PCBoard allowed time online) ùSwitch between Name/City display and full compact display. (e.g. show files being transferred, messages being entered) ùUser selectable screen update interval. ùAuto-Scroll through nodes at user selectable interval. ùAuto-Scroll will skip screen with only 'Inactive Node' if desired. ùFull node update capability. ùUse upper and lower case if desired for all node update info. ùChange node to Running Event. Try that with PCBMONI. ùNow supports Caller Management System (CMS). ùSupport added for PCB 15.2 status code H. ùSupport added for PCB 15.21. Installation: Just pop it into your CMD.LST. e.g. C:\PCB\PPL\MONI.PPE Parm1 Parm2 Parm3 Parm4 Where Parm1 is the auto-scroll interval in seconds. Default is 60. Use 999 to disable. Where Parm2 is the screen update interval in seconds. Default is 3. Where Parm3 is NOSKIP to disable skipping 'Inactive Nodes'. Default is to skip them. Where Parm4 is CMS if you have Caller Management System. Note: Parm1, 2, and 3, must be included if you use this one. Usage: Use the numeric keypad and make sure NumLock is on! Use the up/down arrow, PgUp/PgDn keys to scroll the display. Use the Home and End keys to move the hilight. Use the left/right arrow keys to switch display mode. Hit Enter to see the hilighted node user's record. Hit Space to change the hilighted node info. Hit any other key to instantly update the display, and reset the auto-scroll and update intervals. Shareware: This program is fully functional with only one 'gotcha'. Approximately every 5 minutes a 'beg' screen will appear, which will force you to hit Enter to continue. This will occur only while node information is being displayed, and will not interfere with viewing user info or changing node info. Hey, it's only $10 to register.. Misc: When CMS usage is desired, the normal PCB display will automatically appear if the user's record cannot be found in your CMS database. In addition, you must modify the sample MONI.CMS file to suit your system. This file must be in the same directory as the .PPE. CMS is (C) by Andy Keeves.
