CD-Player II (c) VPKSoft 1996-1997 ****************************** Help *********************** In graphic mode of cd player you can choose which track you want to listen and you can adjust the sound volumes. Unfortunately chancing volume levels works properly only with sound cards which is fully Soundblaster (16+ ?) compatible. So if chancing sound levels does not work maybe your sound card is incompatible with Soundblaster. You can swap between craphic and text mode with F1 key. In text mode you can label an album and its tracks. You can run cd player with /h parameter if it does not identify cd correctly. This program works well on fast 486. On slower machine the mouse cursor may flicker ! With program CDPSET.EXE you can configure cd player colors in the textmode. *********************************************************************** * Thanks to Juse (WolfWare), Tony (TA Software) & Tuomas (TH Company) * * who have helped me to find some bugs from the program and given me * * new ideas of what kind of functions should I do to this program * *********************************************************************** This version should be almost bug-free ! ***************************************************************************** * KEYS IN GRAPHIC MODE: * * Right shift: Toggle 1/2 digit track (-/--) * * Numbers on numeric pad and on second keyboard row selects a track to play * * PGUP/PGDN: Jump track * * NP +/-: REWIND/WIND * * NP DEL: Eject/Diseject disc * * INS/DEL: Left channel volume control * * HOME/END: Right channel volume control * * LEFT/RIGHT ARROW: Select volume to adjust * * NP ENTER: Play * * SPACE: Pause * * ALT GR: Stop * ***************************************************************************** -------------------------------------------------------------------------- This program can be freely distributed if no changes has been made to it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- This program is done by using Borland C/C++ 3.1 and all graphic and cd-rom handling functions are made by VPKSoft.
