Surrealistic Passage -------------------- Written in September 1994 by Ryan Cramer Renaissance / Iguana This is a song that was originally composed for the Epidemic music disk, but it was done in a hurry and I wasn't happy with how it sounded. Some of the people that I sent the song to said that they didn't like it much either, so it just sat on my hard drive for a long time. Anyways, I don't want to just delete it, because I kind of like it anyways. :) I figured I might as well go ahead and release it so I can clear up that space on my hard drive. =) Its a simple song, and some of the transitions aren't so hot, especially towards the end (a good indication that the song was written in a hurry), but I hope that you enjoy listening to it anyways. Another thing I should mention is that although the samples are very high quality, some of them aren't placed so well, thats part of the reason that I think not everybody liked this song. Contrary to what the sample text says, please feel free to rip the samples. The samples were mostly sampled from a Korg X3 at 18314 khz. You might need to adjust the sample rate a bit so that they sound right with other samples, but that should be pretty easy in ST3. For playing this song, I'd suggest using the latest version of XMM from HardCode. Its by far the best sounding player that I've used.
