bl u r . re l i g i o n - fl o a t i n g . li q u i d . go d -- - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - -- - a musicdisk by mellow-d transmission.from.brussels jak@hole.fi and into the life she goes I n t r o --------: Thanks for downloading. This disk is the result of about a half year of planning and composition. There was supposed to be an interface, with plenty of design and other bliss, but we ran out of time because the songs were done, and I didn't want to wait for the interface. The music on this disk is somewhat experimental, so broaden your mind before or after listening to the disk ,) This is the first disk of the Blur series by Mellow-D. The next disk will be out around the end of 1996, and will contain the interface. Oh, and check out http://gumflex.arcadis.be/ which will open its doors around March 15th. S o n g s --------: You may want to listen to the songs in this order: gum.flex.tide international beetle fix the me machine syanide mandarin ride nouveau gum.flex.tide The first song on the disk, also the first song that was finished. gum.flex.tide was inspired by Octoque's unreleased song, called Ars Moriendi, The Orb's CD called Orbvs Terrarvm, and a session of random radio surfing in Brussels, Belgium. Has a mythological history behind it, and has created a religion :). fix Again inspiration by The Orb. I've fallen in love with distorted crappy sounds! Dig the string riff. international beetle Inspired by Front 242's new remix CD, mut@ge.mix@ge. To me, it brings a nice feeling with the second guitar riff and the nice matrix printer sounds :-) the me machine The song has a bass riff from Rage Against the Machine, sampled thru the DSP to add groovyness. The riff doesn't play right in anything else than FT2, so please use it to play the song. syanide A little bit more techno, a little bit more rough than the rest of the songs. mandarin ride An experiment with samples from all over my CD collection - plus a few goodies done by putting a mic to my mouth and just flowing nonsense. nouveau An older tune, which was updated for the disk. It was supposed to be used in Scenial, but since S!P Belgium quit, there was no Scenial. :) C o n t a c t ------------: You can contact Mellow-D: Phone +32-2-782-1089 Email jak@hole.fi Snail 6, Clos du Verger B-1950 KRAAINEM O t h e r --------: Also check out the following music disks by Five Musicians: (available atleast on dragon.axs.net /demos/groups/fm) - Basehead: Oddities - Are We There Yet? - Necros: Progression - Mellow-D: Kaktoos (a collection of older 4-track MOD's) E n d ----: Well, that's that!
