B U G F I X ¯ released 26th October 1993 ® Just when you thought we were gone forever....we release a BUGFIX! Alas, we thought we had got rid of at least MOST of the ugly bugs but it seemed that some things like making the demo work properly with GUS on some machines - not ours naturally - were missed when we tossed out the demo. It still doesn't work with Tseng 3000, but if you are stuck with a T3000 it's time to upgrade anyway, huh? If you experience memory problems - or are stupid enough to try to get enough free memory whilst using DOS 6.0 DBLSPACE, why not try to make a bootdisk, load himem.sys in the config file, and load the dos high. That should do. In the original version there was a painting by Boris Vallejo on one of the sides of the zoom-n'-rotate-texture cube, and using the works of an artist without even asking for permission isn't really our style, in fact it was left there by mistake in the first place. However, a BIG sorry to Boris, and it is now changed to a little picture by an old bloke called Rembrant in case you heard of him. And YES, we DO have the legal rights to use that painting. CDS, yes. We need a few additional coders. I can't understand why some of you guys stick to your own group of "ware"-swapping lamers instead of joining a group with good and ancient reputation (that'd be us... =) ) and while making demos for fun, also making a great deal of money in one of our commercial projects. As you might know we are very much into commercial graphics and have a big project going on in Virtual Reality. And coders for our new projects are always recruited from the Cascada Demo Section. I for my part wouldn't hesitate a moment if someone could give me the same deal. Why not just call and we'll talk about it? You should be a scandinavian good (well...great) assembler coder with the power and spirit to do incredible demos and even getting paid for it! You'll have all the power on your side. Tell me why not. Ok, that was all I had to say today... Perhaps a little songtext quote to picture some of the movement on the scene lately... "Fame, fame fatal Fame - it can play hideous tricks on the brain." "But still I'd rather be Famous than righteous or holy, any day." Morrissey, The Smiths, 1985. Ok, that was all for now. See the contact information in the old APPEAL.DOC. In case you've got something really important to say you can phone me 16:00-21:00 CENTRAL EUROPEAN TIME on... [+46 220 33489 (ask for Erik)] Last minute final quick very personal not too serious greetings to Loot/Triton - M:et/Rebels PC - Darkness/Imphobia - Bulltalkers/CDN Ok, have a stoned autumn, and see you all in Denmark at newyears'!
