Ver 1.01 Trouble Shooting ---------------- 1. Q: How Can I disable onboard (On Sound Card) IDE, or disable the 2nd IDE on the mother board? A: 1. If you are under Win3.1X, to disable Sound Card's 2nd IDE, please disable the I/O port and IRQ on the CD-ROM IDE item that will appear while you are installing SC167X driver. 2. If you are under Win3.1X, to disable Mother board 2nd IDE, please disable the 2nd IDE controller in BIOS setting. 3. Under Win95 environment, the OS will arrange the IDE source automatically. 2. Q: I plug my CD-ROM audio cable into the audio connector of sound card, there is no sound coming out while I play an audio CD. A: 1. You have chosen the correct audio connector to plug into. 2. Some audio cables which come with Panasonic CD-ROM are in Mitsumi format.If you have a Panasonic CD-ROM and you can't plug your audio cable into Panasonic connector on SC167X, please plug it unto the Mitsumi connector. 3. Some audio cables which come with CD-ROM look like Mitsumi audio cables, but pin define is different form Mitsumi audio connector. If your audio cable can fit into Mitsumi connector, but there is no sound while you play your audio CD Disc, we suggest you pull out the housing of Mitsumi audio connector and turn it 180 degrees before you re-plug you audio cable.
