Inertia Player has much better graphical user interface. INERTIA PLAYER may not be able to play a file correctly on 16-bit DMA channels on some machines. If this occurs, use METAL instead. 1.2.2 METAL ----------- METAL is another mod player. It lacks the graphical interface that Inertia Player has; however, it is small and can be used as an alternative if Inertia Player fails. You can exit METAL by pressing any key, but it may take a few moments before it actually exits. 1.2.3 ULTRAMIX -------------- ULTRAMIX is a DOS command-line mixer. If you run ultramix with no parameters, ultramix initializes the UltraSound according to the settings last saved or the defaults if you have not run it before. A help screen will be displayed if you type ULTRAMIX -H. Being a commandline mixer, ULTRAMIX is suitable for use in batch files. 1.2.4 Emulations ---------------- Two utilities are included to help you manage the different emulation options available. They are E.BAT and GUSEMU.EXE respectively. You will be presented with a help screen if no parameters are given to them. 2.0.0 Bundled Software ---------------------- 2.1.0 Epic Pinball ------------------ The first time you run Pinball, you will be asked to do a setup. Make sure that you reboot your computer after installing the software and accept all the defaults. 3.0.0 Other Software -------------------- 3.1.0 Video for Windows ----------------------- If you experience choppy video with Video for Windows, make sure that you are using the runtime library 1.1a or above (free upgrades are available on most BBSes) and use 8-bit DMAs with small buffers.
