Important News
--------------
 þ There is a new file online, GUS0013.ZIP, which contains a patch for
   those of you experiencing problems with 16 bit DMA on certain chip
   sets, including SOME models of OPTi.  You will find this file
   in our NEW UPLOADS area.

Mail & Networks
---------------
 þ We are now hooked up to Fidonet and Internet.  Our Fidonet address
   is 1:153/978 and our Internet address is gravis.wimsey.bc.ca.  This
   will soon be shortened to gravis.com.  I'll let you all know when
   the change takes effect.

 þ Since many of you are calling long distance we have installed a QWK
   Offline Mail Reader.  This will allow you to call in, download any
   new mail and logoff.  Thereby saving you money by reducing the
   time spent online.

   Once you have downloaded your mail you will need a program which
   allows you to read and reply to it.  We have placed a few of the
   most popular offline readers online, BLUE WAVE, WINQWK and SILLY
   LITTLE MESSAGE READER.  All of them are available in our NEW
   UPLOADS area.

   To access our QWK mailer simply press "Q" from the MESSAGE BASE
   menu.

 þ Users may now upload files to the Gravis Support BBS.  There are a
   few limitations and restrictions.

       þ Only upload files that RELATE to our products.
         We are NOT trying to become a shareware library.
         However, if you have something that you feel will
         be useful to other happy Gravis owners please feel
         free to share.
       þ All new uploads will be scanned for viruses with
         McAfee's latest virus scanner before being
         placed online.
       þ All uploads will remain invisible until the SysOp
         has had a chance to personally check the validity
         of the program.

   To upload a file press "U" from the file menu.
