UPGRADE to EZ-SCSI v3.10 README


Welcome to the Adaptec EZ-SCSI Upgrade program.  This program will
update old versions of Adaptec ASPI Managers and device drivers with     
the device drivers contained in EZ-SCSI 3.10.                            

To upgrade, type:

     UPDATE C:\SCSI

where C:\SCSI is the location of your previous Adaptec software
installation.  If you wish to undo the upgrade patch, you will find      
a file named UNPATCH.BAK in the OLDSYS directory. Rename this file       
to UNPATCH.BAT and run the file.                                         


This upgrade program will upgrade the following files:

  ASPI2DOS.SYS
  ASPI4DOS.SYS                                        
  ASPI7DOS.SYS                                        
  ASPI8DOS.SYS                                        
  ASPIEDOS.SYS                                        

  ASPIDISK.SYS
  ASPICD.SYS                                          
  ASPIBUF.SYS                                         

  WINASPI.DLL
  VASPID.386                                          

This program will only upgrade the files listed above.  No DOS/Windows
applications are upgraded in this program.  If you wish to upgrade       
to the full EZ-SCSI 3.1 software package, which includes the following                                                                         
list of application software,  please call the appropriate number                             
listed below.

 o  SCSI Disk Partitioner (Windows)                                    
 o  Scanner Application (Windows)

 o  On-line 3rd party catalog (Windows)
