This file is for customers who purchased a
80-000782-00 OR 80-000782-30 Courier V.Everything 
modem and do not see HST in the ATI7 option screen.

Run the TEMPSDL.EXE file as described in your 
manual (APPENDIX I) for SDL.  This code 
should only be used for the duration of this
fix.  For instance if your modem is on COM1
execute TEMPSDL /C=1.  This will flash the modem
with the temporary code necessary for the next
step.  Enter your communication software and
issue an AT&F1 to the modem to enable factory
defaults.

Once this is completed, call the special BBS #
800-370-3200.  Log onto the BBS as you normally
would.  Once logged in the BBS will automatically
bring you to the maintenance program.  The 
next few seconds will see the restoration of HST
mode to your modem.  When completed you may
disconnect and proceed to the final step.

Exit to DOS and load the 5/25/94 SDL.EXE code
into your modem.  Again, if your modem is on
COM1 for instance, enter SDL /C=1.  The modem
will be updated with the 5/25/94 code.  
DO NOT KEEP USING THE TEMPSDL CODE!!!!!!!!!!!!

PROCESS AND WILL NOT BE SUPPORTED BEYOND THIS
LIMITED USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once the SDL reports software download successful, you 
can enter your communications package and examine
the ATI7 screen.  Options should now show:
HST,V32bis,Terbo, V.FC.  You may then configure
your modem to your specific requirements.
