   This software creates a ROMPaq firmware upgrade diskette with which to
   upgrade the System ROM on Deskpro and ProLinea units with a 486G
   Family ROM. The ROM Family and ROM date on your computer can be
   determined by running F10 Setup. To update the ROM, use the SoftPaq to
   create a ROMPaq diskette. Turn your computer off, place the ROMPaq
   diskette in drive A, then turn the computer on. Follow the
   instructions that are displayed on screen to complete the procedure
   that installs the new Compaq System ROM on your computer.
