This archive contains 4 different BIOS recovery disks for the
Micronics M4Pi motherboard. These are all in the form of
self-extracting diskette images, which create recovery disks on
1.44MB diskettes.

Please verify that you have the Micronics M4Pi motherboard by
finding the Micronics part number, 09-00209, silkscreened onto
the back left corner of the board. Then select the appropriate
file to use for creating a recovery disk. 

Note that there are two types of BIOSes used on these boards,
Phoenix 1.03 and Phoenix 4.04. These cannot be interchanged.
For more information on this, please refer to M4PI-REC.TXT, enclosed
in this archive and available on our FTP site and WWW site.

M4PI-09.EXE  Phoenix 1.03 M4Pi-09 - For Micron systems not using
                                    a PS/2 mouse.

M4PI-15P.EXE Phoenix 1.03 M4Pi-15P - For Micron systems with a
                                     PS/2 mouse.

M4PI-404.EXE Phoenix 4.04 M4Pi-09PM  - For Micron systems using the
                                       4.04 BIOS.

M4PI-14.EXE  Phoenix 1.03 M4Pi-14 -  For non-Micron systems. This
                                     BIOS is from Micronics' web site
                                     and does not support PS/2 mouse.

To create the recovery disk, type in the filename from the list above.
The program will detect which drive, if any is a 1.44MB, and will ask
for a blank, high-density diskette to be inserted into that drive. It
doesn't matter if this disk is blank or whether or not it has been
formatted - it will be completely overwritten.

The resulting BIOS recovery disk will contain a copy of the original
BIOS for this motherboard. Please refer to the included file
M4PI-REC.TXT for instructions on using this recovery disk.
