INSTALL.DOC


This document lists the steps to install the printer/conversion
update for WordPerfect 6.0 for Windows.  It also lists the files
that are affected by this installation.


INSTALLATION

The files you have already downloaded should be in a temporary
directory or a floppy diskette.

1    Load Windows.

Make sure that WordPerfect 6.0 for Windows in not currently running.  If the 
program is running, the installation will execute, but will ask you to exit
WordPerfect and start the installation again.

2    Choose File from the Program Manager, then click on Run.

3    Type the path where you placed the update, then type
     INSTALL.EXE.

     For example, type   C:\TEMP\INSTALL.EXE 
                         A:\INSTALL.EXE

4    Click OK.

You are ready to start the installation.  The first screen will
ask you to choose Continue to begin the installation.

5    Choose Continue.

The next screen lists the default directories to which the new
files will be installed.  You can change any of these
directories.

6    If all of the directories are correct, click OK.  If you
     need to make any changes to the directories, click on the
     incorrect directory and type the new one.  When you have
     finished making changes, click OK.

The installation will continue.  You will be notified when it is
completed.


UPDATED FILES

If you did not change any directories in step 6, the following
files will be updated in their WordPerfect default directories.

Subdirectory: WPWIN60\MACROS

          PLEADING.WCM        9:00p.m.  (New File)

Subdirectory: WPWIN60\WPDRAW

          WPSCAN.DLL          9:00p.m.


These updated files will have a different time stamp representing an 
enhancement over the previous files with a older time stamp.  The changes
can be read in the README.TXT.  The sizes will also change in most cases.
