SUBJECT:  Blank Screen Displays Using WP 5.1+, ScreenExtender,
          Shell 4.0

Problem:
Customers using WordPerfect 5.1+, Shell 4.0, and ScreenExtender
together get a blank screen when returning to WordPerfect after
using Ctrl-Alt-Space Bar to shell out to the main menu from the
WP document screen.  Pressing Alt-S twice restores the screen.

Answer:
To correct the problem, WPCorp is temporarily providing a Shell
"fix" file (SHL_CMP.EXE) and a README.SH file that explains how
to remedy the problem.  Customers reporting this problem should
receive the fix file and the README.SH file free of charge.

Note: The files are available on the electronic services (i.e.,
BBS, CompuServe, SpaceWorks, etc.).
