This diskette contains the Windows 3.0 printer driver to support the 
following Panasonic Laser Printers:
    KX-P4420
    KX-P4450
    KX-P4450i

This is version 1.00 of the printer driver.

The files on the disk and their functions are:
    PANLP.DRV    - main printer driver program file. 
    PANLP.HLP    - help file for use with Windows help engine
    FINSTALL.DLL - soft font installation program file.
    FINSTALL.HLP - help file for the font installer.
    PINSTALL.EXE - pre-installation setup program file.
    PINSTALL.TXT - instructions for normal installation.
    MINSTALL.TXT - instructions for manual installation.
    MINSTALL.BAT - batch file used in manual installation.
    README.TXT   - this file.

The overview of the installation procedure is as follows:

  - Start Windows.

  - Run PINSTALL.EXE from this disk to update the Windows SETUP.INF file.
    This will allow the "Add Printer" procedure to proceed in the same 
    way as the installation of drivers delivered on the Windows disks. 
    If this fails, use the MINSTALL procedure.

  - Use the Windows Control Panel "Add Printer" procedure to copy the
    necessary files to the Windows System directory and add appropriate
    entries to the WIN.INI file.

  - Use the Windows Control Panel "Configure" and "Setup" procedure to 
    configure the printer driver for your particular port connections 
    and printer setup.  Press the [Help] button on the main printer 
    driver setup screen to access the full documentation on this 
    printer driver through the Windows Help Engine.

Notepad application, or the DOS TYPE command.
