This driver corrects a problem that occurs with the CANONBJE.PRD file that causes the letters "CI" to spuriously print in the upper-left corner of the first page of a document. The updated CANONBJ1 driver should be installed and selected in place of the CANONBJE driver. INSTALLATION ============ Hard-Disk System ---------------- 1. Place the enclosed disk in drive A. At the command prompt, type the following and press ENTER copy a:\canonbj1.prd where refers to the drive and directory that contains your Works program files (usually, C:\WORKS). 2. Start the application by typing "works" (without the quotation marks). 3. From the Print menu, choose Printer Setup. 4. In the Printers box, select CANONBJ1, and then choose OK. Dual-Floppy-Disk System ----------------------- 1. Place the enclosed disk in drive B and the working copy of your Works program disk in drive A. At the command prompt, type the following and press ENTER: copy b:\canonbj1.prd a:\ 2. Start the application by typing "works" (without the quotation marks). 3. From the Print menu, choose Printer Setup. 4. In the Printers box, select CANONBJ1, and then choose OK. SUPPORTED FEATURES ================== The Canon BJ-10e printer is supported by Works in its factory default mode. Graphics printing is supported at 60, 120, 180, and 300 dpi. Bold and underline are available on all internal fonts on the Canon BJ-10e. Underline is substituted for italics.
