This zip file contains the data files that are needed to use the
CalComp ColorMaster Plus (PostScript) printer with Microsoft WINDOWS Version
3.0 (or later).

To use these files, you must first install the standard PostScript printer
driver ("PSCRIPT.DRV") that is included with WINDOWS.  To install that driver
file, perform the following steps:

 1) From the Program Manager "Main", double-click on the "Control Panel" icon.

 2) Double-click on the "Printers" icon from "Control Panel".

 NOTE:  If you already have the PostScript driver installed on your system,
        it will appear as "PostScript Printer on <port>" in the list of your
        "Installed Printers".  If that driver already exists in the list, go
        on to step 8, otherwise continue.

 3) Click on the "Add Printer >>" button to display the "List of Printers".

 4) Click on any printer that is shown as a "PostScript Printer" (such as the
    Apple LaserWriter) to highlight that printer.

 5) Click on the "Install..." button.

 6) When prompted for the WINDOWS floppy diskette, insert the specified WINDOWS
    diskette into your floppy drive (for example, your "A:" drive).

 7) Click on "OK" to load the PostScript driver file from the diskette.

 8) The PostScript driver will appear in the list of installed printers as
    "PostScript Printer on None".  Double-click on that printer to highlight
    it and make it the default printer.

 9) Click on the "Configure..." button to configure the PostScript driver for
    your system.

10) Click on the "Port" to which your printer is connected (such as "LPT1:").

11) Click on the "Setup..." button.

12) Click on the "Add Printer..." button to install the information for your
    ColorMaster Plus printer.

13) Have the install printer program directed to the subdirectory where you
    have unzipped these files. click on the "OK" button to start loading 
    the ColorMaster Plus information.

14) Click on the ColorMaster Plus model (6603PS or 6613PS) from the menu and
    click on the "Add" button.  Although you can add both models, you will
    typically install only the file for your particular printer.  When you
    have finished adding the printer information, click on the "Done" button.

15) The ColorMaster Plus printer that you installed will now be shown as the
    current printer, so you should pull-down the "Paper Size" menu and select
    a paper size.  Then click on either "Portrait" or "Landscape" to specify
    the image orientation.  You do not need to use the "Paper Tray" pull-down
    menu, since the ColorMaster Plus only uses a single paper tray.

16) When you have finished installing the ColorMaster Plus information, click
    on the "OK" button to return to the Main Control Panel.  This completes the
    installation procedure.
