Windows NT 3.1, 3.5, 3.51 ------------------------- Note: ----- (1) The directory structure provided on the NDIS 3.0 driver diskette has been setup for automatic OEM installation. Also, more information can be found in the Microsoft Windows NT User's Guide. (2) Only x86-based Windows NT platforms are supported. Follow the steps listed below: 1 Insert the NDIS 3.0 driver diskette into the floppy drive. 2 From Control Panel in the Windows NT Main window, double click on the Network icon. 3 In the Network Settings dialog box, click "Add Adapter." 4 In the Add Network Adapter dialog box, pull down the adapter card list menu and select " Requires disk from manufacturer" from the list. Then click "Continue." 5 In the next window, enter: A:\WINNT\NT31 or A:\WINNT\NT35(For NT 3.5, 3.51) 6 Then, select "ND4300 PCI Ethernet Adapter" from the dialog box to install the ND4300 PCI Ethernet Adapter. 7 Reboot your system to complete the driver installation process. Windows NT 4.0 --------------- 1. Insert the ND4300 PCI adapter into an empty PCI slot and boot up Windows NT 4.0. 2. In Control Panel, double click the Network icon. 3. Click the "Adapters" tab in network properties and then click the "Add" button. 4. Click the "Have disk" button. 5. Insert the ND4300 diskette into a floppy drive, type the complete path to where the ND4300 driver is located: e.g. : a:\winnt\nt40, 6. Click "OK." The screen will show "ND4300 PCI Ethernet Adapter." 7. Click "OK" and click "close." 8. Reboot your computer to allow the settings to take effect.
