INSTALLATION NOTES : 1. Copy Win95 driver to a diskette. It has 2 files namely NETAMD.INF and PCNTN3.VXD. 2. Boot Win95 and execute DOS prompt. Go to \WINDOWS\INF sub-directory. Copy the provided NETAMD.INF file to this sub-dir which will overwrite Win95's existing one. This will effectively make Win95 rebuild its device information database the next time it boots. 3. Exit DOS prompt and reboot Win95. 4. Enter Network Setup under Control Panel. Remove Win95's own AMD PCNET driver (if any) and then ADD a new driver. When choosing the adapter, you still choose Win95's built-in AMD driver as listed (don't use the diskette just yet). It now reads the new NETAMD.INF file. 5. Win95 will then prompt you for the location of PCNTN3.VXD file. Put the diskette in the floppy drive and keyin the location (e.g. A:\). Win95 will now copy and use the new 8034 driver. 6. Reboot Win95.
