(This info not supplied with the original WHO386. I have included it based on my own experiences). - I am running it on NW 3.11 (The DOC doesn;t specifically say it works on 3.11). - Sometimes relying on drive mappings doesn't work. Examples: WHO386 SYS:FILES\DATABASE\ABC.DAT will always work and tell you who has ABC.DAT open. MAP L:=SYS: L: CD \FILES\DATABASE WHO386 ABC.DAT will always work. MAP ROOT L:=SYS:FILES L: CD \DATABASE WHO386 ABC.DAT will NOT work. In general, it becomes confused by drives mapped with the MAP ROOT command. Also, the following three cases give IDENTICAL responses from WHO386 (i.e. In each of these cases, it will say no one has the file open). 1 - You have correctly specified a file that does exist, and no one has it open 2 - You specified a file that does not exist 3 - You specified a file via a drive mapped in with the MAP ROOT command
