This patch will eliminate the "Operating System/Server Mismatch" error message seen on a 286A file server. To perform this patch you will need to make a backup of the "GENOS-3" diskette. Then run the program against the operating system file by typing: "PROPATCH NET$OS.EXE ". The patch will modify the .EXE file as well as update the checksum so the file server can still be cold booted. The file server will have to be booted from the floppy containing the new NET$OS.EXE file. This patched copy of NET$OS.EXE will then need to be copied to the "SYS:SYSTEM" directory, replacing the current file. The next time the file server is cold booted, the new operating system will execute. This program may only be run with the following 2.0a versions of Netware (these part numbers appear on the diskettes). Advanced NetWare 286A P/N 127-010100-001 SFT NetWare 286A Level I P/N 127-010139-001 ÿ
