Connections to drives mapped to NetWare servers are disconnected if they have been idle for approximately 10 minutes or more, and if there are connections to more than 8 servers. 2. You may receive a "Not enough space" error message when you try to save a file from an MS-DOS-based program to a Novell NetWare server with more than 2 gigabytes (GB) of free disk space. When an application accesses a data file on a NetWare server from a Windows 95 workstation running the Microsoft Client for NetWare Networks (NWRedir), and the application does not lock the file or a range of the file, the file data may be read from cache instead of from the network server. If multiple users or applications access the file concurrently, the file data returned may not be current or correct, and the file may become damaged. If a file on a Novell NetWare network server is opened by a Windows 95 client running the Microsoft Client for NetWare Networks (NWRedir), and the size of the file subsequently changes, the new file size may not be reported by Windows 95. Copy the file NwRedUpd.exe into an empty folder, and run NwRedUpd.exe to install the update. 2. You may be warned that you are about to replace a newer file with an older version of the file. Generally, you should the keep the newer file, and choose not to replace it with an older file. 3. Restart the computer for the changes to take effect. NOTE: The correction to problem #2 above requires an additional step: Double-click the file 2gb_fix.reg in your Windows directory to merge the contents into your registry.
