============== MAILHOG v1.0 ============== Copyright (c)1994 Roy Coates MailHog is a simple utility which will show what space is being used by user mail directories. I found that some of my 'smarter' users had found that they could use their mail directories as a 'spare' storage area - we don't really have the space for that kind of thing - hence this utility. Usage: MAILHOG [volume-name] [username] [/descending] [/File=] The output can be sent to either the Screen, a data file, or to a printer on LPT1: (which of course may be re-routed using capture :-) The volume name defaults to SYS, and regardless of the volume name, the mail directory structure is expected to be the same as the netware default. Specifying no username will produce a display of all users. Wildcards may be used to check course accounts etc. NOTE: Small bug - if specifying a username, you MUST also specify the volume. The /descending switch - which may be abbreviated - causes Mailhog to show users in order of disk space used. The /file= option forces MailHog to write all output to the specified file. This allows MailHog to be run unattended from batch files. Currently, Mailhog can only cope with up to 1000 users but this will be increased in the next version. I also need to find a faster way of actually scanning the files in the mail directories. Such is life ;) Mailhog is Freeware provided that no financial gain is made from its use.
