TROUBLESHOOTING Assuming the following directory structure and trustee assignments: SYS:TEST EVERYONE [ R F ] SYS:TEST\TEST2 EVERYONE [SRWCEMFA] Selecting "Who has rights here" in filer for directory "test2" will show that everyone has only [ R F ]. CAUSE When trustee rights are granted to a user in a directory or a file then they are the explicit rights the user has. The previous FILER was OR-ing the parent effective rights with the current trustee rights.
