     This file contains instructions covering the installation of
     AACCTON Driver Files to support the  ACCTON Technology Corp.
     adapter EtherCoax-16N Rev. EN1603-N2 in a NetWare 286
     version 2.1x environment.

2. NETWARE SETUP STEPS

	A. Configuring the adapter card.

		The "as-shipped" configuration of the adapter:

		IRQ 3 selected
		I/O base address 300
		No DMA

		For additional or alternate settings see Chapter 3 of
		ACCTON'S Hardware Reference guide/Installation manual.

	B. Installing the driver files for the card using the "floppy
	   disk" method.

	   DO NOT USE ORIGINALS OF ANY DISKETTES. WORK WITH
	   BACKUP COPIES; SAVE THE ORIGINALS FOR FUTURE USE.

		B.1 Preparing installation diskettes:

		    1.Prepare a DOS diskette with the Volume label
		      "LAN_DRV_OO3" and the following ACCTON files:
			AEP0100.OBJ
			BEP0100.OBJ
			CEP0100.OBJ
			DEP0100.OBJ
			EP0100SH.OBJ

		    2.Copy ACCTON'S "EP0100.LAN" file onto a copy of
		      Novell's AUXGEN diskette.

		    3.Copy ACCTON'S "EP0100.LAN" file onto a copy of
		      Novell's SHGEN-1 diskette.



	C. Load, select, and configure the ACCTON driver.

		C.1 Procedure for generating "NET$OS.EXE" :

	   DO NOT USE ORIGINAL COPIES OF ANY DISKETTES. WORK WITH
	   BACKUP COPIES; SAVE THE ORIGINALS FOR FUTURE USE.


		     1. Insert the copy of Novell's
			NETGEN diskette into floppy drive A:.
		     2. Type "Netgen" and press ENTER.
		     3. Insert the diskette "LAN_DRV_003" when prompted.
		     4. Select 'ACCTON Acc-10 Ethernet Netware Driver
			2.1x (Vxx-Rxx mm/dd/yy)' as the target
			network adapter in the choice list.
		     5. The Novell NETGEN program will generate the
			NetWare program NET$OS.EXE.



		C.2 Procedure for generating "IPX.COM":


	   DO NOT USE ORIGINAL COPIES OF ANY DISKETTES. ONLY USE
	   BACKUP COPIES; SAVE THE ORIGINALS FOR FUTURE USE.


		     1. Insert the ALTERED copy of Novell's
			SHGEN-1 diskette into floppy drive A:.
		     2. Type "SHGEN" and press ENTER.
		     3. Insert the diskette "LAN_DRV_003" when prompted.
		     4. Select 'ACCTON Acc-10 Ethernet Netware Driver
			2.1x (Vxx-Rxx mm/dd/yy)' as the target
			network adapter in the choice list.
		     5. The Novell SHGEN program will generate the
			NetWare program IPX.COM.
