ABSTRACT:
This patch corrects the failure of a NetWare 2.2 non-dedicated router.  If
the ROUTER.EXE is larger than 256K, the load image is not recognized
causing the router to fail.  The patch allows the load image to be up to
512K.

                   README FOR ROUTESZ.EXE
This readme file accompanies ROUTESZ.FIX for Netware v2.2 non-dedicated
routers.

Purpose:
This patch corrects the failure of a v2.2 NON-DEDICATED router.  If the
ROUTER.EXE is larger than 256K,  the load image is not recognized.  This
patch allows the load image to be up to 512K.

NOTE ** This problem does not occur with dedicated real mode and dedicated
protected mode routers.

INSTALLATION

1) Make a backup copy of the existing NPROUTER.OBJ.

2) From the 2.2 ROUTEGEN directory, either on hard drive or floppy, run the
ZAPOBJ utility with the following parameters:

	ZAPOBJ NPROUTER.OBJ NEWNPRT.OBJ ROUTESZ.FIX > REPORT.TXT

3) If ZAPOBJ is successful, replace your original .OBJ with the updated one
just created (newnprt.obj) and execute ROUTEGEN.  Link and configure the
router and copy it to your hard drive.  This procedure will complete your
installation.
