OEMSETNT.INF OEMSETUP file for Windows NT. \DISK1 ****************************************** * DE-650 Driver in PCMCIA Environments * ****************************************** DE-650 NT driver and DE-650 WFW 3.11 driver comply to NDIS 3.0 specs. and are supported only for Intel 82365SL PCMCIA adapter and there is no need to run DCD16.EXE. ********************************************** * DE-650 Driver Setting in Windows NT V3.1 * ********************************************** Because DE-650 is a PCMCIA driver and PCMCIA needs the extra settings of slot number and memory base, these settings are needed to be chosen. That is, users have to choose the settings of IO Base, Interrupt Number, Mem Base, and PCMCIA Slot Number. ********************************** * Windows NT V3.1 Installation * ********************************** Installation Procedure: (1) When LAN drivers is installed, Windows NT will present a list of all available drivers. Since there will be no D-Link DE-650 drivers initially, select OTHER for 3rd party adapters not in the driver list. (2) Windows NT will ask for the drive/path containing the DE-650 Windows NT drivers. Insert the D-Link driver diskette in drive A: and respond with the following. A:\IBMPC\NT31 (3) Windows NT will attempt to locate an OEMSETNT.INF file in the specified path. If you have entered the path name correctly, Windows NT should copy the appropriate drivers to the Windows NT system. (4) At this point, the driver would have been properly copied and the installation would proceed to the next step. Please refer to your Windows NT installation guide for correct procedures. (5) After the initial installation, the DE-650 drivers will be permanently copied to the Windows NT system. Subsequent network driver lists will already contain D-Link DE-650 driver.
