Here are some things that might be problems: o Some of the Western Digital (now Standard Microsystems Corporation, SMC) Elite 16 cards do not work properly with the Crynwr packet driver. Western Digital has their own packet driver which is available from their BBS: (714) 753-1068 Courier HST 9600 (714) 753-1234 1200/2400 bps o 3Com says that because of timing problems in the IBM PS/2 model 30/286, or other machines which use the VTI 8000 chip set, the 3c507 may not operate properly. There is a software fix, but I have not implemented it because no one has complained. o The 3c503 driver requires that memory be enabled. o The DE-600 driver will only work the first time after powering up the machine. After that, it doesn't recognize the existance of the adapter. o The 8.x driver ignores that class of your driver when your application asks for all packets regardless of type. This is very unlikely to cause problems, but should be documented anyway.
