Shadow Mouse is a TSR program that allows you to use mouse to cut, paste and send characters to keyboard buffer. It's very useful (for example) in terminal programs and BBS softs, that don't support mouse already. ----> System Requirements Shadow mouse requires at least : þ IBM 286 or 100% compatible. þ Extended Keyboard þ Mouse & Microsoft compatible mouse driver. þ Dos 3.3 or later (May also work with earlyer versions, not tested) ----> Controls 1st mouse button Is used to quote the text. 2nd mouse button Is paste (see also /B) 3rd mouse button Is enter (see also /B) USE NUMPAD WITH HOTKEYS ! CTRL-- Toggles Shadow Mouse ON/OFF. Shadow Mouse _MUST BE_ turned OFF, when you use any other program, that supports mouse or some unexpected results may appear. CTRL-* Toggles enter (line feed) mode ON/OFF. By default Shadow Mouse adds enters to end of each line (ON), otherwise the text will come without enters. CTRL- Toggles the "paste" to IMMEDIATELY or LATER. If paste is IMMEDIATELY, SMOUSE will paste immediately after quoting, in LATER mode you have to use PASTE key or 2nd mouse button. CTRL-/ Print Quote, in this version only the first printer is supported. CTRL-+ Paste / Abort paste, use this to paste when mouse is off or if you have 2 button mouse and you want to use /B. While SMOUSE is already pasting something it aborts paste. ---> Commandline Parameters While running Shadow Mouse there's also few command line parameters available : /B Swaps 2nd and 3rd mouse button. /D:n This is delay while displaying status message. 1 is 500ms, 2 is 1000ms... values 0-5 are accepted, default is 2. /E Allows the automatic LF also while pasting less than one line. /L LineFeed mode initially OFF. (default ON) /P:n Paste Speed, this is how many characters Shadow Mouse will paste on each clock tick. Too great value may cause some programs to lost characters on slow machines. values 1-10 are accepted, default is 5. /Q Paste initially IMMEDIATELY (after quote). /T Mouse initially OFF. /U Uninstall Shadow Mouse. ----> Status Message When you toggle either LF mode or MOUSE ON/OFF you'll see a status message in upper right corner of the screen. Turn mouse ON (CTRL--) 2. Press PAUSE 3. Quote, what you want 4. Turn mouse OFF (CTRL--) [ 5.
