When this modem is connectied to another modem in Windows 3.1x and I jump to a DOS prompt through the Main icon, my connection will soon drop carrier. All I do is run some commands like DIR, TYPE, CD, etc... Why? A. We do no work while the Windows 3.1x DOS box is being used in Windows 3.1x. This is a know problem, and one which we will not likely be able to fix it. The key to this is the Windows 3.1x environment. Windows 95 does not have this problem. Q. Why can't MSDOS GAMES recognize this Modem. A. This modem does not work in MSDOS. This is a know problem, and one which we will not likely be able to fix it. Q. How Do I monitor my Phone Line Quality and CPU Loading of this modem? A. A small MEYE.EXE utility is provided for you to known your Phone Line Quality and CPU loading of this modem. To use it, try to connect your modem to another modem and then run this utility.
