;			Things You Must Do
There are a few things that you must do in order to make HDT perform properly
for you. You must be certain that the disk drive parameters are correctly set
and match the physical drive characteristics. The parameter keywords are CYL,
HEADS, SECTORS, PRECOMP and REDUCE.   If the default drive parameters were not
correct then be sure and issue an IDC command prior to accessing the disk.

After doing these things you should be able to access the disk properly.
