Designed to meet the requirement for mobile computing, Fujitsu new advanced
2.5-inch disk drives are available with total capacities of 1224 MB to
1632MB. Fujitsu's advanced MR head / PRML read channel technologies enables
these state-of-the-art ATA-3 drives to pack areal density of 1284Mbits
/ square inch in 12.5 mm height low-profile package and 140g slim body
and offer 1224MB and 1632MB in only 2 disks. M272x series achieves high
power efficiency while offering high performance and reliability required
when running new and larger applications such as multi-media. Advanced
power management technology succeeds to save power consumption with 2.19
Watt in read/write and 0.98 Watt in idle operations. Enhanced SMART detection
system ensure data integrity by warning users data saving in any inconsistencies
of disk drive.
