The following instruction will install the video driver for an installed version of Windows 3.0 ============================================================================= step 1 - Install Windows 3.0 on your system as per instruction from MicroSoft. step 2 - Copy unzipped Windows 3.0 drivers to a blank formatted diskette. Label diskette "EV-673 Windows 3.0 Drivers". step 3 - Have your Windows 3.0 install diskettes as well as the Everex driver diskette containing the Windows 3.0 drivers ready. step 4 - Change to the directory Windows 3.0 is installed. From DOS, run the Windows SETUP program. (DO NOT run SETUP from within windows.) step 5 - When SETUP displays your current configuration, move the highlight bar up to the 'Display:' line, and press [ENTER]. step 6 - Move the highlight down to the bottom of the list of display drivers to the one marked 'Other (Requires disk provided by a hardware manufacturer.)' and press [ENTER]. step 7 - Insert your diskette containing these Windows v3.0 drivers in to your drive A: slot. step 8 - When SETUP prompts you where the drivers are located, type 'A:\' step 9 - Select the resolution in which you wish to use Windows v3.0. step 10- Exit SETUP. SETUP may prompt you for other diskettes, including the Windows 3.0 installation diskettes. step 11- Windows v3.0 is now configured to use the new, higher resolution mode. =============================================================================
