Section I) Release Notes ver2.00B: ______________________________________________________________ A) ISDN BOARD installation procedure: 1) Run a:\msisdn11.exe: Before you plug the ISDN BOARD into your PC, insert the install disk and run a:\msisdn11.exe. During the execution, click "OK" for all the questions. 2) Plug the ISDN BOARD in: After you run msisdn11.exe, power down the PC, and plug the ISDN BOARD in. 3) Follow the instruction prompte by Windows 95: After plug the ISDN BOARD into your PC, power up the machine. Since the ISDN adapter is Plug and Play, the Window 95 will automatic find the hardware and ask for the install disk. Insert the install disk and complete the installation process as prompted by Windows 95. During the installation, you only need to type in Phone # and SPID #. You should get two phone # and two SPID # from telephone company when they install you ISDN line. The switch type is configuration(you can manual select as well). 4) Reboot the system and the ISDN line is ready to be used. _________________________________________________________________ B) How to confirm the installation completed (optional): 1) In the Windows 95 Control Panel, double-click the System icon. 2) From the Device Manager tab in the System window, double-click the Network adapters. If you see the ISDN card list under Network adapters and without a yellow "!" sign in front of it, your installation is succeed and you are ready to make call using the ISDN BOARD. For any reason, if the installation is not successful, follow Section C procedure to re-install the driver. ____________________________________________________________________ C) How to re-install the driver (for any reason): 1) In the Windows 95 Control Panel, double-click the System icon. 2) From the Device Manager tab in the System window, double-click the "Network adapters". Select the 128k ISDN card and click "Remove". 3) If you find 128k ISDN card under "Other devices", select and Remove it also. 4) In c:\windows\inf directory, del tiger.inf. 5) Follows the procedure in Section A to re-install the driver. ______________________________________________________________________ D) To setup the Dial Up Networking: Go into "My Computer", then "Dial Up Networking" and click on "Make New Connection" to assign a name, modem type(TJISDN-Line1), and phone number. You are ready to dial out. ____________________________________________________________________ E) To setup the ML-PPP (128KBPS call): Go into "My Computer", then "Dial Up Networking" ,then click on "your phone icon" , and then click on "File", then click on "Property", then click on "Settings". Select "Use additional device", then click on "Add", then select "TJISDN-Line2". You are ready to make a 2B call. ___________________________________________________________________ F) To re-configurate your ISDN line(change Phone or SPID number): After the installation, if you want to re-configurate your ISDN line (change your phone or SPID number), click "Start", then "Programs", then "Acessories", then "ISDN Tools", then "ISDN Configuration Wizard" and then following the instruction to reconfigurate your ISDN line. ____________________________________________________________________ G) To configurate your PC to be a Dial-Up Server: In Dial-Up Networking, Click "Connections", and then click "Dial-Up Server". Select "TJISDN-Line1" and Click "Allow caller access". Your ISDN line1 is ready for income call. ___________________________________________________________________ H) To use CAPI 2.0 application: CAPI 2.0 driver is installed with NDISWAN driver and ready to be used with CAPI 2.0 Application. If you are using the CAPI application in US, you should change the "audio type" from A-law to U-law in Tiger.inf ____________________________________________________________________ I) Release Notes ver2.00B: This version of driver support ETSI,5ESS,DMS100,NI1 and NTT protocol.
