MOUSE POP-UP MENU LIBRARY This package provides 14 pop-up menu utilities for the most popular non mouse-based application packages, which are: POP-123.MNU -- LOTUS 123(Version 1.0 and later) POP-1232.MNU -- LOTUS 123(VERSION 2.0 and later) POP-DB.MNU -- dBase III PLUS POP-DOS.MNU -- MS-DOS or PC-DOS POP-WP.MNU -- Word Perfect POP-WS.MNU -- WordStar POP-FM.MNU -- FrameWork POP-MP.MNU -- MultiPlan POP-SYM.MNU -- SYMPHONY POP-PE2.MNU -- Personal Editor POP-VC.MNU -- VisiCalc POP-PC.MNU -- PC Tools POP-TREE.MNU -- X-Tree POP-ED.MNU -- EDLIN Install procedure: 1. Install the MOUSE driver - File name: MOUSE.COM 2. Use test program to set the MOUSE into PC Mouse mode to activate all 3 mouse buttons: File name: TEST.COM 3. Switch on the Pop-up Menu by file MENU.EXE - Example: MENU POP-123 The Pop-up Menu is ready after the "MENU ON!" message appears on the screen. 4. Start the application program. Now the mouse can handle most of the commands and controls which you previously use the keyboard to do the jobs. Basic description: Cursor control - By moving the mouse, the cursor can be controlled to all the directions within definition under the application program. Buttom definition - Left buttom -- "ENTER" key Mid buttom -- "Esc" key Right Buttom -- Main menu display Each buttom also has its further definition under each Pop-up menu utility for their application programs(e.g. the left button can be used as the "/" on the keyboard in Lotus 123). Switch ON/OFF the pop-up menu: MENU OFF -- The switched on pop-up menu can be switched off by typing "MENU OFF" at DOS prompt. MENU ON -- The most recently switched-off pop-up menu can be again switched on by typing "MENU ON" at the DOS prompt. If you want to modify/and add new function to the pop-up menu utilities in this library, or to create your own defined pop-up menu utilities for your application package. A special software tool for these purposes, "MENU COMPILER", and the source files fo this library are available in the sub-directory, CD\MENU, of this mouse diskette.
