Here are the files cyberwal uses and what version they started and what they are for. I really hope you find this helpful, 'Cause its sooo cool.. Isn't it? Not really.. But I like having this.. All my ppes have this! (Which, you should get. Then your board will be cool like mine! :) -file----------version-----description--------------------------------- CYBERWAL.PPE 0.1 a ppe CYBERWAL.DOC 1.3 idiots read this :) CYBERWAL.EX 1.2 the users not allowed to enter oneliners CYBERWAL.D8A 0.1 the data file CYBERWAL.CFG 1.3 configuration file, edit this CYBERWAL.OLD 1.3 old one-liners that scrolled off the screen WHATS.NEW 1.3 what the fuck is new? FILE_ID.DIZ 1.3 description file CWHEAD.ANS 1.5 header file, displayed before the oneliners CWFOOT.ANS 1.5 footer file, displayed after the oneliners ------------------------------------------------------------------------ cyberwal.old is only added to/created if you say you want it to be in the configuration (cyberwal.cfg) file. cyhead2.ans is a different colored header for cyberwal, its the same design, just different colored.. you really should get someone to make you one, or draw one yourself if you are any good at ansi editting. just use which ever you like more.. tWo -ð- How to install When installing CyberWall v1.5 there are two ways you may wand to do it. You may want to have it be seen when people log on, or maybe you want it to be an option on your menu. Perhaps you would even want to do both! i'll tell you how to do both. Everytime someone logs on: Just make it your Log-On Questionnaire file.. The file is defined in PCBSetup>FileLocations>NewuserLogonLogoffQuestionnaires, at the third configuration option. Just put !C:\PCB\CYBERWAL\CYBERWAL.PPE In that space, and leave the Answer file blank. It will then be viewed every time a person logs on. As a command on your main menu: In your CMD.LST (pcbsetup,B,B,down 6-9 lines) put an entry like: -cmd-------sec---charge---PerUse--filename+location-------------- ONELINER 0 0 0 C:\PCB\CYBERWAL\CYBERWAL.PPE ----------------------------------------------------------------- Edit the above to match your individual and unique system, of course. Now your users just have to type ONELINER at the main menu to load Cyberwal! I hope that is easy enough.. If it isn't just call my support BBS listed below and page me. I'll help!!! foUr -ð- Configuration options, why? Ok, to change your config options, edit the config file!!! Its that easy. So, edit the CYBERWAL.CFG file NOW! Here's whats there: line 1: confirm oneliners after entry? (YES/NO) line 2: number of oneliners on the wall (1..50) line 3: security needed for extended commands (0..255) line 4: create/append CyberWal.Old (YES/NO) line 5: lighten explicatives (ass would become a$$)? (YES/NO) line 6: color for prompts (RED/GREEN/BLUE/WHITE/PURPLE) fiVe -ð- Deesklaimor! This file and any files in this archive are not supposed to do anything wrong, but if they do Decomposition is not responsible for it. By even having this file, you agree that it is your responsibility. eiGht -ð- Running CyberWall We encourage you to change the headers and footers of cyberwall, so that your board doesn't look exactly like every other board that uses this PPE. Ask your local ansi artist to conjure something up. If you would like to lock out a user from entering oneliners, like if someone keeps writing "hahaha you can't see this through all that hardened jizz you have stuck on your monitor!!" or something to that effect, at the CyberWall command line type 'X'. This may not work if you don't have the extended security set right in the CyberWal.Cfg file. niNe -ð- The absolutely wonderful CyberWal.Old bulletin! The CyberWal.Old file is quite useful for a bulletin for the oneliners of the past. It has a nice header and everything, all you have to do is define it as a bulletin. Entries to CyberWal.Old are added whenever a user enters a new oneliner and the top one rolls off. The top oneliner is then added to CyberWal.Old and everyone is happy. What do you think?
