NEW RELIEASE! Updates for 2.0 - Now all the strings that the PPE uses are configurable. - Fixed a bug in the passing of passwords that were alpha-numeric What it Does: Hey y'all out there. I wrote this PPE because have an Elite board set-up with a PD front and I am sick of PCBoard's way of checking the users security level once and then registereing them in the conf. or asking them a Password for a private conference once but this lame little PPE will let you specify a security level and any Password up to 10 letters/numbers long that you need to join a specific conf. Installing the damn thing: Well should be pretty simple. If you think it is tough you are a fucking lamer and need to run Renegade... Just place the line !D:\PCB\PPE\SEC\SEC.PPE in a conference intro file that you want to have the PPE check sec. and PW. make sure you use the ! and D: is the drive and \PPE\SEC\ is the path and SEC.PPE is the program. Configuration: Edit the file SEC.CFG to match your needs. Line one is the security needed to acs the conference and line 2 is the password (Valid characters are (no spaces in PW this version ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijkl mnopqrstuvwxyz1234567890-=\!@#$%^&*()_+|). An Example CFG file is included in the ZIP. In the new release 2.0 you know have the ablitly to change all of the strings that the PPE prompts and prints. I added this feautre for 2.0 since I am a better programmer than I am an artist... Peace in '95 Dΐ out of the Nine o' Nine
