Introduction | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ See HISTORY.DOC for changes since v1.0 and v1.1. This is a PPE replacement for your CNFN file. Features: o Automatic print out of only the conferences a user has access to. o Ignores/skips any "blank" conferences. o You do not need to enter in the names of your conferences so there is no heinous 1000+ line config file. Written in PPL 3.0 for PCBoard 15.2+ only. +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | 2. Installation | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Install this inside of your CNFN file. So just edit the file, and put something like !C:\PCB\PPE\JOIN\JOIN.PPE on a line by itself. (needless to say, you probably don't want anything else in the file ) +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | 3. Misc Notes | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ JOIN.TOP is the header file. JOIN.BOT is the footer file. JOIN.CFG uses replacement codes. See details within the file itself. (Don't worry, it's only 2 lines long. :) ) Since this PPE has to create the list of available conferences for the online user "on the fly", I did not write this PPE with lightbar capabilities. That's just the trade-off... Source is included, so feel free to modify to your heart's content in order to satisfy your needs. I am not asking for money (although receiving money would be nice), so the least you can do is have a conscience and not redistribute modified versions of this source. I include source so that other programmers can learn from the mess I make and get other (new) ideas as to how to do something. +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | 4. Last Words | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ The original idea for this joyous PPE was from Raw Liquid. :) Otherwise, if you need to reach me for some reason, you can send internet email to "drew@xinet.com", or leave me a message on Attitude Net, or call my board: The Silicon Phalanx at 310-575-8567 and apply for access.
