Hi, Well as you can see I've kinda almost got this IRC program working. The source is available, I mean I think that I'm under legal obligations to release it, but I'd appreciate it if you wanted it you'd just wait a little bit till i've fine tuned it. Not to mention its really sloppy right now :-) Make sure that you stick the emx.dll in a place somewhere in your libpath, otherwise it won't work. You also have to go set term=mono, and set termcap=placewhereyouunpackedit\termcap.dat for it to work. I believe from my limited testing that its almost as fully functional as the UNIX irc client, but then again thats why you have a copy of it right now in your hands :-) I sent myself a little file via DCC and that seemed to work, so it looks promising. /Window doesn't seem to work which is a bummer, it could have something to do with the curses emulation of emx. I can tell you and perhaps warn you not to use /EXEC though. If you do, things may seriously stuff up :-) You have been warned. I intend to keep on trying to support all of this, but I maybe busy soon, depending on how lucky I am [anyone want to give me a job?]. Either way, if you have any problems give us a email. And if you feel really generous, although you have absolutely no obligation whatsoever, send me a postcard or something. Forms of monetary appreciation will also be accepted. :-) My mail address: PO Box 767, Eltham VIC 3095. Australia. Good luck and have fun. Christian Wilson.
