It was an immense project to undertake, since most of the coding would have been in assembler. I am not sure when I will continue the project but I am providing a demo, so I can get some feedback. If I get a sufficient amount of positive feedback, I might start coding again. Right now, you can only move around in two types of screens. One for world plan view and the other for dungeon view. The world view is nothing more than moving an image of a warrior around on a two dimensional XY grid. Those who have played the NortQuest adventures will know what I am talking about. The dungeon is a 3-D environment much like the classic Wizardry game. The dungeon view has one bug... you can see through some walls! :( Anyway, thats all you can do at the moment. I was in the process of making the combat engine but that was where the project came to a halt. In this demo, the only usable programs are DUNGEON and WORLD. Oh, almost forgot to mention, the name of my game is ShadowLands. A bug or two may exist, so remember to back-up your calc.
