PressEnter to confirm your selection.Pressing the capital letter of any functionwill take you directly to it. Use the Up and Down arrows to scrollthrough a page and the Page Up and Page Downkeys to move between pages. Press Enter tomake your selection.The most common drive type is type 2. If youdon't know what type of drive is installed inyour computer, however, call your dealer andask. Selecting the wrong drive type cancause your disk drive to malfunction.DISPLAYThe Display setting refers to the type ofadapter card that is installed in yourcomputer. Press Enter to confirm.The numbers "40" and "80" refer to the numberof columns that are displayed on yourcomputer monitor."Other" means any type of monitor controllercard other than monochrome or color, such asan Enhanced Graphics Adapter (EGA) card.SAVE/EXITThe STATUS selection takes you back to thestatus display so that you can check thesetup one more time before you save it.If everything is correct, or you need to makefurther changes, you can press any key toreturn to the Selection Menu. Choose "FINISH"to save your changes to CMOS RAM.Press the F10 key to save any changes thatyou have made to the disk file FSETUP.EXE.This DOES NOT save your changes to CMOS RAM,however.SAVE/EXIT (CONTINUED)The purpose of using the F10 key to save yoursettings to the FSETUP.EXE file is to savetime. If you get a check-sum error whilebooting the machine, or if the batteries rundown, the FSETUP.EXE file will allow you torefresh the CMOS RAM just by calling it.If you fail to save your settings to thedisk, however, you will have to reset eachitem individually.
